• You do not need a down-payment unless it's required by the lender. 
• The VA also provides guidance, and policies to ensure they can provide solutions to borrowers who may have difficulties keeping their property. They want to help avoid any foreclosure.
• There is no maximum amount on how much you can borrow to finance your home when using the VA. There is an amount of liability though. 
• You can use the VA to buy a home as a primary residence (This can be either existing or new construction.) As well as refinance an existing loan.
• Minimum property requirements.
• One-time VA funding fee, which can be included in the loan. If you receive VA disability compensation, you are exempt from the VA funding fee.
