Happy Monday! It's November, which means for some of us Football season isn't the only important thing happening. Let's take a look at what we can look forward to! The holidays are right around the corner! Yay! Thanksgiving grocery shopping, Sunday Football, Black Friday shopping, Christmas decorating, and the grand finale; New Years! We also cant forget the weather changing, as we switch from fall to winter followed by Super Bowl Sunday!!
While the upcoming holidays and events taking place are exciting, we can't forget those who would rather wait for Spring. If you're more of a Spring person, we can look forward to that as well. After we get through the holidays and weather changing, Spring will be here before you know it. Flowers blooming, sun shining, wearing light jackets, Spring break for students, and changing our clocks..once again; but don't worry we won't overwhelm you with too much just yet.
So, whether you decide to stay inside and binge watch Netflix, or go outside to play in the leaves or snow.. just remember there is always something to look forward to in the upcoming months!
It's that time again! Daylight Savings time! Our clocks will automatically turn back 1 hour, starting at 2:00 am on Sunday November 3rd. As this happens, there are a few friendly reminders to keep in mind!
For starters, turning our clock back an hour may not seem very different; but keep in mind when you have babies on a specific sleep schedule! This could definitely throw you and your little off balance. If you have the time to get them adjusted; GREAT! If not, that's okay just be prepared for a little bit of an adjustment period.
You get to gain another hour of sleep in the morning. Yay! Everyone loves to sleep in right?
Remember, most device will automatically turn back, and set to the daylight savings time. Your vehicle clock, alarm clocks, some laptops and computers, along with your household appliances will have to be manually changed.
Keep your normal schedule of waking up and going to bed at the same time. Also, try not to nap, this tends to interrupt your routine or schedule which mixes with the time change. We don't need grumpy people up all night, then falling asleep at work during the day!
Don't worry, this wont happen again until the spring time, we'll get through this! :)

It's Fall time! This means lawn care is important before the winter hits! The weather can get to freezing, and we want to make sure your lawn is well taken care of with a couple of friendly reminders and tips.
If you wait or choose not to blow out your sprinklers, you risk having the water freeze in the irrigation valves.
Some don't know, but when water freezes it expands. This causes part of your system to burst, which in return destroys your sprinkler system.
The pressure from ice and expanding water can also cause the sprinkler heads to pop off. This will not only become costly, but also a messy clean up. Who needs that with water and cold weather happening!
